The Branch celebrates its 40th Birthday on 30th June, the Branch was formed in the Railway, Twist Lane, Leigh and for a while the Branch was a sub-branch of North Cheshire. Now a change of name, since the boundary reorganisation of Branches our name South East Lancs was deemed inappropriate for our geographical position, numerous names had been discussed at several meetings, the name chosen Leigh, Atherton & Tyldesley CAMRA.
